SUSAN ERLING MARTINEZ BIO

Susan Erling Martinez is the author of many books, booklets, and articles on the topics of loss and grief, alternative healing, self-protection, and spirituality.

Her books have been reviewed in Shape, Self, Playgirl, Star Tribune, St. Paul/Mpls Magazine, Body, Mind, Spirit, and many other publications.

Last Call for Alcohol: Healing a Marriage Harmed by Alcohol Abuse, 2002

Safe & Sound: A Parent's Guide to Self-Protection for Kids (co-authored with E. Gordon Franks), 1990

Susan is a certified hypnotherapist, holds a black belt in karate, and was a pioneer in the field of assisting people who have experienced a childbearing loss. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, Tj Martinez, and her five children.

She likes Harleys, Nascar, dancing, country music, and yoga.
